Starting with Merry Cthulmas I’m giving hand-lettering a shot. Using a font can be pretty easy and versatile, but it’s very difficult to find one that fits perfectly. Hand lettered text in comics always feels more natural, more tactile to me. Let me know if you like it and if it’s something you’d like to see me continue, or if you prefer the font.

I also got my hands on a new tablet, so after 10 faithful years I’m finally able to retire my trusty (and tiny) Wacom Graphire. The new tablet is a Wacom Intuos4 medium, and so far the difference is huge. I’ve been doodling with it for the past few days and here are (a few of) the results:
