This comic is dedicated to OMGPOP. They make games like Draw Something and decided it was a good idea to use notifications to push ads. I’m fine with ads inside the application – that’s great, that’s where they should be. But when I get a notification I expect that I have new email, a new personal message or that my dog has died in a fiery hovercraft accident. Even if they’re ads for yourself they’re still ads which still makes you a dickhole. OMGPOP, you’re OMG-uninstalled. But keep your chin up – you won an award.
